Telephony Services

The University uses VoIP telephony. Your IP phone is linked to your PC and has extended functionality, such as Caller ID, Voicemail, Directory search, Conference Brigde, etc.

How to search person’s phone extension from IP phone handset?

From your IP Phone’s menu select “Directory“, then “AUA Directory” or “LDAP” (depends on phone model you have) and start to enter person’s first or last name. You will see results matching search criteria.
Select required line from found records using UP and DOWN keys on handset and press “Send” button or # key to make call.

How to make external calls?

Just dial the number and press “Send” button or # key to make call. Examples of numbers:

Operator prefix + Phone number – to make call to Armenia mobile subscribers, e.g. 091 123456

060 612nnn – for domestic calls from any location in Armenia (Yerevan, other cities)
+374 60 612nnn – for international calls from outside Armenia,

where 2nnn is your phone extension.
